The Sunshine Coast Marathon is one of the biggest annual events held on the Sunshine Coast with over 12,000 participants in 2024.
Running from 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM, the Sunshine Coast Marathon takes in some amazing scenery along the beautiful Sunshine Coast beaches.
Catalina Resort is located less than 2 kilometres from the start line and is a great place to stay for the Sunshine Coast Marathon.
Catalina visitors can take the short walk down to the track or use public transport for the drive which is just a few minutes.
The event distances include the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and the 2km.
