You use the Resort facilities at your own risk. You also agree to comply with all signage at the Resort (regarding your use of the Resort) and any “House Rules” or similar rules and policies notified by us to you. For your safety and our other guests’ comfort, you also agree to comply with all reasonable directions of our staff at the Resort, including in particular directions by our staff. In these terms and conditions, “House Rules” include all of the rules we notify you that you must comply with when occupying the property as well as any applicable by-laws of the strata or body corporate scheme if applicable. Our reception staff will have a copy of these rules for inspection upon check-in.
During your stay, we reserve the right to evict you from the Resort if you (or any of your guests) are not complying with these terms and conditions, any House Rules, any directions from staff or we otherwise form the reasonable belief that your (or your guests) continued presence at the Resort will cause us (or others) to suffer loss or damage, put the safety of you, us or others at risk, or will bring the Resort into disrepute. If we evict you, the cost of the accommodation at the Resort for all of your stay is non-refundable and you will be required to settle your account in full prior to departure (as well as any other costs we are entitled to receive or recover from you under these terms and conditions or as a part of your booking).
Safety – The use of Lithium/Lithium-ion batteries & Lithium/Lithium-ion battery-operated equipment
For your safety and of our residents/tenants & other guests’ safety, you also agree to the property managers role in ensuring electrical safety of Catalina Resorts and its’ property.
This means there is to be no Lithium/Lithium-ion batteries & Lithium/Lithium-ion battery-operated equipment brought into the Catalina Apartments/Resort building, i.e. Lobby, Games Room, Apartment or into any Lift. (This excludes motorised mobility devices, phones, hearing aids)
Security
All keys/swipes to the premises are not to be given or lent to any person/s residing within the building. These access keys/swipes are uniquely coded to each room and are traceable (regarding doors opened) if required. If a key/swipe is lost or stolen, this must be reported to the Reception/Management as soon as possible.

Cancellation Policy
*Low / Mid-Season Bookings:
Deposit:
A $200.00 Non-refundable deposit will be required to confirm each booking per apartment.
Payment:
Prior to 12.00pm on arrival day, the final balance plus a separate Security Bond (Pre-Authorisation of $200) is scheduled to be automatically processed. These transactions will be taken from the Visa/Master Debit/Credit card we have on file.
Cancellation:
Bookings cancelled prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the amount/value of the booking deposit, which will be forfeited.
No Show: If a guest does not check-in at the resort as booked/scheduled, this will be deemed as a ‘No Show’ and all monies paid will be forfeited and charged 100% of the confirmed stay.
*Peak/High Season Bookings: (Christmas/School Holiday Periods) & Special Events:
* 13th December 2024 – 25th January 2025
Deposit:
A $300.00 Non-refundable deposit will be required to confirm each booking per apartment.
Payment:
Payment in full of all accommodation costs must be made 30 days prior to scheduled date of arrival at the resort. Failure to make payment in full of the accommodation costs 30 days prior to arrival at the resort, will invoke an automatic cancellation of the booking with a loss of deposit and all pre-paid monies may be forfeited.
Prior to 12.00pm on arrival day, a separate Security Bond (Pre-Authorisation of $200) is scheduled to be automatically processed.
Cancellation:
Bookings cancelled outside 30 days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the amount/value of the booking deposit, which will be forfeited. Bookings cancelled within 30 days of arrival will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the amount/value of 100% of the total accommodation/booking cost, which will be forfeited.
No Show: If a guest does not check-in at the resort as booked/scheduled, this will be deemed as a ‘No Show’ and all monies paid will be forfeited and charged 100% of the confirmed stay.
Please keep our policies in mind. We have a seven-day cancellation policy, however during Peak Season we have a 30-day cancellation policy. All deposits are Non-refundable.
Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third parties are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies and for assistance.
Travel Insurance
NB: We do not have a separate policy for COVID. We also strongly recommend you purchase Comprehensive Travel Insurance that covers your accommodation costs (including any Hotel damage that is caused by yourself). We suggest that the policy includes, but is not limited to, the following coverage – loss of payment through cancellation, loss or damage to personal belongings, damage to property, loss of money and medical expenses.
