The Ironman 70.3 Sunshine Coast starts with a swim off Mooloolaba Beach, followed by a bike ride and two-lap coastal run course. The race also is a qualifying event for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Spain.
The race starts with a rolling swim start, allowing age group athletes to be in the correct start zones prior to the race start.
There is an Ironkids category for kids between 7-13yrs old. The kids event is a run only, with distance ranging from 1km to 2km depending on age.
The event runs from Friday 12th September until Sunday 14th September.
